Almabase helps schools in the US increase alumni donations. Education is a legacy industry struggling to adapt to digital and social media. Almabase plays a critical role for any educational institution trying to engage and involve their younger alumni. 

In the US, alumni donations help schools provide a high quality education to their students, while keeping their tuition relatively low so that more students can afford it. For example, if a school needs $3M per year to run, they will get $2M from tuition, and the remaining $1M is coming from alumni donations. If schools can't raise sufficient money, it directly impacts the quality of education provided. Apart from donations, an engaged alumni community also contributes back with their time and talent to improve outcomes for students.



Customer Success Manager Role

  • Objective - Help customers around the world succeed with Almabase.
  • KRAs - low churn, growing customer lifetime value, customer referrals. 

On a day-to-day basis, you will be doing these things:

  • Work with customers who have just signed up to understand their goals and setup their Almabase platform accordingly.
  • Proactively identify opportunities to get testimonials, create case studies, and upsell.
  • Work with customers with a high chance of churn to prevent that from happening. 
  • Also work closely with product team to ensure our roadmap is aligned with customers' needs.
  • Respond to questions from customers.
  • Work during US hours - 4 PM to 2:30 AM IST (approx)


Who are we looking for?

  • You should have 1-3 years of experience in Customer Success or sales. If you have worked in B2B SaaS, it will be a huge bonus.
  • Strong written and verbal business communication skills are very critical for this role since you'll mostly be working with US customers. If you cannot communicate clearly, you cannot succeed in this role. 
  • Strong technical and analytical aptitude with the ability to quickly learn and adopt technical products
  • Passion for relationship building
